Basement digging part 1

We found out last week they would be digging our basement first thing Monday morning. So Sunday night we headed out to the ground to get one last look before the dig...








 Monday, they started the dig.























They still have to build up the basement a few more feet
 since we will have 9ft ceilings down there. 




Today they will finish the digging and lay the footings. More photos to come!

    Looking good Neighbors. Make sure you always have beer in the fridge...It's in the by-laws for building on the compound.

    WHOA, that is a BIG basement! You will be able to do all kinds of activities down there(sorry, Stepbrothers reference)! So glad they let your pooch do an inspection of the basement dig, it is a very important part of the process. :) Congrats on the big day, it is officially becoming a home!
